Mullany makes its New York debut
Wednesday 30 April–Sunday 4 May 2014
Mullany is delighted to announce that this Spring we will make our New York debut exhibiting at the inaugural edition of Spring Masters, New York to be held in the historic Park Avenue Armory.
Formerly known as The Spring Show NYC founded by the Art and Antique Dealers League of America (AADLA), the oldest and principal antiques and fine arts organisation in the United States, the inaugural edition of Spring Masters, New York has been re-envisioned as an international art and design fair that reflects the breadth and scope of artistic creation from antiquity through the 20th century.
To be held in the landmark Park Avenue Armory, Spring Masters will feature a design by renowned architect Rafael Viñoly that reimagines the visual impact, layout and experience of fairs set in the dramatic environment of the Drill Hall. With hexagonal booths and a redesigned floor plan that represents the most significant change in the Armory fair format in three decades, the inaugural edition of Spring Masters will spotlight traditional art in a contemporary context.
In addition to the new visual experience, a mix of art and antiques will be curated to provide audiences with an experience that captures the diversity of creative expression across time and place which will appeal equally to experienced collectors, museum professionals, interior designers and the arts loving general public. Committed to connoisseurship and emphasising quality and innovation in the selection and presentation of works on view, Spring Masters coincides with major evening auctions of 20th century art contributing to the range and interest of the spring arts calendar in New York City.
We look forward to welcoming you on our Booth A6 on the front right hand side as you enter the Drill Hall.
